by Corey Evans

In some point of our lives, all of us have experienced the suffering of those painful pimples appearing on our skin. Sometimes looking so awful that we might suspend any commitment we may have had. So, we stopped eating greasy food and started a full skin hygiene. We also stopped using our favorite make up or stopped shaving because of the pain. What is worst, our skin isn't getting better. The truth is that this common skin disorder called acne is not going to resolve with those changes. Luckily, the solution exists and the best part is that it is a natural one.

Biology Solution in Acne Cure

Acne vulgaris, or common acne is a skin disorder associated with the inflammation of the pores, leading, eventually, to a bacterial infection. The skin is full with tiny little pores where hair follicles are located. Just think of a cross-section of the skin layers. Hair crosses the three skin layers ending in the dermis where we have the follicle associated with a sebaceous gland that secretes sebum, which has the function of hair and skin protection. The secretion from the sebaceous glands (sebum) is associated with hormonal changes of especially testosterone, a hormone whose production level increases during puberty. These glands start to secrete more sebum and mix with dead cells, blocking the pore and causing the trapping of bacteria, producing painful pimples that can spread to our face, neck, chest, back or upper arms. Sometimes, when the body reacts to infection, we get pus-filled pimples. There are three different types of bumps: whiteheads, blackheads, and pimples. A whitehead appears when a pore gets clogged-up and bulges out from the skin; a blackhead is produced when too many skin cells clog the pore and; a pimple is a result of sebum, bacteria and dead skin cells that make their way under the skin, usually after a lesion has appeared in the pore. Frequently, acne disappears after puberty but in some cases we have to live with it an entire life time. Besides there are also acne scarring that as reminders of tissue repair of acne lesion .

Biological Ingredients Without Bieffects

A regular acne cure can in the long run damage your body, so it's important to find an acne cure that doesn't have side effects. The alternative of using natural skin care treatments is preferable because compounds extracted from our natural surrounding have many compounds with beneficial properties for our body. A perfect example is Salicylic acid, extracted from the tree Salix nigra. This biological ingredienthelps unclog the pores by slowing down the shedding of the cells in the hair follicle and doesn't cause skin irritation (while the synthetic counterpart does). Other natural ingredients with skin regenerative properties are glycoconjugates and antioxidants extracted from the garden snail Helix aspersa. Evidence found in scientific works done in Spain and USA where they studied the regenerative properties of this last compound, showed that is has beneficial qualities in treatments of acne, scars¸ and even, stretch marks. Modified carbohydrate glucomannan is another type of natural compound found in the Japanese Konjac root that decreases the surface tension of sebum facilitating its dispersion into droplets.
